Job Vacancy – Accounts Administrator

Job Title:         Accounts Administrator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join the National Organic Training Skillnet team In Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim. Full-time and part-time applicants will be considered. Successful candidates will report to the Finance Manager.

The Role:
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional environment and have a good understanding of accounting, finance and reconciliation procedures including invoicing, accounting software, online banking etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Data input on internal reporting system
  • Accounts Payable – processing creditors invoices, preparing payments and reconciling supplier accounts
  • Accounts Receivable – ensuring debtors accounts are managed within credit limits
  • Bank Reconciliations – reconciling bank accounts daily for multiple sites
  • Month-end duties – cost analysis, reconciliations, journal postings
  • Ad-hoc duties – to assist the finance team with monthly reporting and annual audit process


Principal Requirements:

  • Ideally 1 or more years experience in a similar role in bookkeeping
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Proficient in use of financial software (e.g. Xero or Sage)
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and planning capabilities

Salary and Hours:

Competitive salary – depending on experience. Position to be based at company offices in Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim.
