Earn a Masters / Post Graduate Diploma in Organic Farming from the comfort of your own home.

Run by SRUC in Scotland, this course is studied online (part-time) through distance learning. This allows those in continuing employment or with family commitments to participate.

With the exception of several weekend schools and a short study tour, the learning is carried out in the student’s own home, workplace, or suitable location.

There are eight taught modules providing a range of technical, marketing, management, work experience and professional skills development. A study tour is also used to visit a range of organic and conventional farms as well as businesses operating in the organic food supply and distribution chain.

PLEASE NOTE: Participants can only register for reduced funding from NOTS if they have accepted a formal offer from SRUC after going through the SRUC Application system.

  • MSc Project (taken following successful completion of taught modules)

Places on this course are limited. As this is an academic post-graduate course, applicants are required to complete a full application process to SRUC Admissions. Applications are available at https://www.sruc.ac.uk/pgorganicfarming .

Applications are open until the 31st of August 2022 but it is recommended to get your application done as soon as possible.
