PLEASE NOTE: This reduced-rate funding is only available to participants who have initiated their PAC application with SETU.
NOTS are delighted to be partnering with South East Technological University (SETU) to offer funding toward the MSc in Organic and Biological Agriculture and its’ individual modules, which is having its next module intake in January 2025 for the following modules:
- Food, Health & Nutrition SE52A
- Livestock Management in Organic and Biological Agriculture SE51Y
- Protected Crop Production in Organic and Biological Horticulture SE52N
- Research Methods & Dissertation
Each individually certified module within the Masters programme will run for 12 weeks, and will consist of webinars, virtual sessions, with laboratory and field assessments and farm visits during each programme period.
Course Fees:
NOTS are providing 40% funding toward all Module fees for eligible participants. Once course fees are paid to NOTS, we will issue a funding letter and confirm with SETU that you are a NOTS member and we will take care of your fees from there.
European Social Fund +:
This National Organic Training Skillnet programme is co-funded by the Government of Ireland, the European Union, and network companies via the ESF+ (European Social Fund) initiative. Please note, you will be asked to fill out a short survey in order to fulfill the funding requirements. You can complete this survey form online via the link that will be emailed to you, or by filling out a hard copy on the course.
The European Social Fund + supports training across a wide range of industry sectors and geographical regions. The aim of the ESF+ programme is to invest in people with the objective of achieving high employment levels, fair social protection and a skilled and resilient workforce for the future world of work. ESF + funding will also improve employment opportunities by providing training to up-skill and reskill, lifelong learning, and education measures with a focus on those who face greater challenges in accessing the labour market.
