Join organic market garden expert Jim Cronin for a series of in-depth, 1-day courses on individual crop families. Day 4 will be on the cucurbitaceae family (courgettes, squash, pumpkins) on Jim’s Farm in Co Clare on May 14th, 2025.

This year, we are hosting a number of specific crop days – each day is dedicated to a specific family. Day 4 is on the cucurbitaceae family. It is possible to come for a single day depending on your preference as we will go from seed to harvest for each crop family.

Course topics will include:

• Growing soil with this family
• Easy methods of growing
• Mulching and feeding
• Avoiding slugs and powdery mildew
• Growing courgettes early in a polytunnel

These are nicer crops – there is skill required in growing them! The course will be held on Jim Cronin’s farm in Co Clare – we expect high demand so please sign up ASAP below.
