Learn what’s involved in converting to organic farming with this 4-day / 2-weekend course in Organic Production Principles. Taught by Andrew Chilton, the practical organic course is QQI Level 5 certified, and is accepted to gain access onto the Organic Farming Scheme.

The course will run in the Drumshanbo Enterprise Centre, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim across two weekends, Friday / Saturday October 18th & 19th and November 1st & 2nd.

Please note – this is one of the last chances for participants who entered organics in 2023-2024 to get their Certificate. Participants MUST be signed up to the course before the DAFM deadline of October 1st. Places are limited, so sign up ASAP to confirm your place.

Weekend 1:

• Friday October 18th (Classroom Session 5.00pm – 9:30pm)
• Saturday October 19th (Classroom Sessions + Organic Farm Visit 9.00am —4.00pm)

Weekend 2 :

• Friday November 1st (Classroom Session 5.00pm – 9:30pm)
• Saturday November 2nd (Classroom Sessions + Organic Farm Visit + Examination – 9.00am —4.00pm)
