NOTS & TU Dublin confirm partnership for funding of the Higher Certificate in Professional Horticulture Practice
Drumshanbo – August 16th 2019
National Organic Training Skillnet have announced that they will be providing a 25{3adc6a1018460a6005a2385c2e21b7e2663bd93d2376baf481e02840920176ea} funding package for eligible students on the Higher Certificate in Science in Professional Horticulture Practice run by TU Dublin’s Blanchardstown Campus.
The 2-year, part-time course will be delivered via a hybrid system of online / distance learning classes and on-site learning. Year 1 and Year 2 students can avail of a 25{3adc6a1018460a6005a2385c2e21b7e2663bd93d2376baf481e02840920176ea} fee reduction by registering for the programme through National Organic Training Skillnet (NOTS). In real terms, this means that students can save a massive €655 on the full course price.
The full cost of the course is €2,625 per year. However, with NOTS funding, members will only pay the reduced fee of €1,970 payable directly to NOTS. Places and NOTS funding are limited, and enrolment is on a ‘first come, first served’ basis so we encourage you to register as soon as you can.
NOTS Network Manager Sean McGloin welcomed the initiative, and praised TU Dublin’s commitment to the horticulture industry:
