Learn what’s involved in converting to organic farming with this 25-hour / 4-day course in Organic Production Principles. The practical organic course is QQI Level 5 certified, and is accepted as the Approved Course to gain access onto the Organic Farming Scheme. The course takes place across two midweeks, Tuesday / Wednesday May 10th, 11th, 24th & 25th.

The course will be held completely online (through Zoom). This will not affect the qualification of the course. Please note, places are limited, so sign up ASAP to confirm your place.

Course Cost: €200 when you sign up through NOTS

On completion of the course, participants will be proficient in:

  • Interpretation of organic standards
  • The principles of organic production
  • Assessing economic viability and market opportunities
