Practical Intro to Biological Farming – Roscommon

This workshop will cover:

• Key principles of biological farming
• The Soil Food Web, in a condensed and practical format
• Soil chemical analysis & how to interpret lab reports
• Visual assessment of soil

Followed by a practical demonstration of how to do:

• Visual evaluation of soil structure
• Use refractometer, sap pH & conductivity meter
• Water infiltration test
• Earthworm counts
• Penetrometer (compaction) test
