The Business of Food is an essential, information-packed course for anyone looking to start up their own food service business (cafe, restaurant, pub food, coffee shop etc).

Over the course of 10 days, participants are equipped with the knowledge to start their own food-related business.

Course Content / Modules include:

  • Menu Planning
  • Location Feasibility
  • Kitchen and Stock Management
  • Sourcing Suppliers and Staff
  • Legal Obligations
  • Financial Planning, and more

Course Dates: Monday 8th of April – Thursday 18th April 2019

The course runs over 10 days from 9.00am-5.00pm at the Ballymaloe Cookery School.

Week 1  –  Monday April 8th – Saturday April 13th (inclusive) 

Week 2  –  Monday April 15th – Thursday April 18th 

The course will include workshops, discussions, case studies, practical sessions, and presentations.

Cost:

The cost of this event via NOTS is €2,520.00 for eligible members (this includes a funding rate of 20%).

Course includes all course materials, and lunch each day.
