Agroforestry / Silvopasture Training Workshop with Steve Gabriel

NOTS are delighted to announce that renowned ecologist and author of “Silvopasture” – Steve Gabriel – will be providing an Agroforestry Training Workshop 1-day course on November 4th in Portlaoise.

Tying in with Steve’s appearance at BioFarm 2019, the training day will begin with a classroom session in the Midlands Park Hotel, and conclude with a practical tour of John McHugh’s nearby farm at Clondarrig, just 6km away. Lunch will be provided during the break.

The training day will be led by Steve Gabriel. Author of Silvopasture, Steve is an ecologist, educator, and forest farmer who has lived most of his life in the Finger Lakes region of New York. His personal mission is to reconnect people of all ages with the natural world and to provide the tools for good management of forests and other landscapes.


Date: Monday November 4th (10.00am – 5.00pm)
