FREE Bar Skills Training

The National Organic Training Skillnet will host a Job Seekers Support Program based on working in bar service.  We are now seeking applications from eligible candidates.  This course is open to those who are unemployed and is FREE (however eligibility criteria apply, if you wish to apply please follow the link to confirm your eligibility. http://www.skillnets.ie/eligibility-criteria-unemployed-people )

Course Aim

At the end of this program trainees will be equipped with a clear knowledge of the Bar sector; trainees will clearly understand the importance of good customer service and will have gained the basic skills required to work in a bar.

Course Content: The course will be divided into 10 days contact training days plus 5 days work experience.

·       Customer Service,

·       Team Work,

·       Bar Skills,

·       Mixology,

·       Barista Training

·       Hospitality Food Hygiene

·       First Aid for the hospitality sector

·       Manual Handling for hospitality industry

Course Start Date: This course will start on the 7h of December 2016

Course Location: The course will be held in various locations in the Carrick on Shannon area.
